How many days do you need in Arches National Park?

We spent most... read more of our trip in Arches National Park - arriving in time to catch sunset at two areas in the park! We also visited Deadhorse Canyon State Park, where we viewed the Canyon and had a picnic lunch. Next to Canyonlands National Park - with its breath taking views in the Islands in the Sky area of Canyonlands. This tour prepared us for our solo visit to Arches the next day.

You will be able to see and enjoy so much more than trying to do it on your own. This is definitely the way to go and worth the money.

Excellent way to get a glimpse of the parks  - We had the opportunity to visit three national parks in one day with this company, and overall, the experience was very positive.

The vehicle was comfortable, which was essential for such an intense day.
However, the pace of the tour was quite fast, and there wasn’t much time to really soak in each location.
That said, it was an excellent way to get a glimpse of the parks if you have limited time.

The three parks we... read more saw were all amazing and they have to be experienced because photos (we took hundreds) don’t do justice to the majesty of this area. We recommend this tour to everyone. It’s not wild off-roading but it is a one of a kind experience.

He allowed for and gave alternative choices based on the ability and wishes of individual members. He was knowledgeable and shared his information with our group. He had snacks and water available and a professionally prepared lunch was provided. I highly recommend this tour as it is quite comprehensive. The tips shared by Ryan certainly added greatly to the enjoyment.

Best Tour Ever!  - This was easily the most thorough tour I had been on in my life. It lasted the entire day, and there was nothing Tom didn't know about each location. There's... read more some hiking involved, but nothing too strenuous, and the views are amazing. It is a lot to take in. I would've liked to have gone to a gift shop, and I'm sure Tom would've taken us to one, had we asked, but I didn't think of it until we were done. I think it should be included in the tour - maybe 10 minutes or so. Otherwise, well worth the time - would highly recommend.

Great experience!  - I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to thank our guide and driver, Tom, for an amazing day on March 22, 2024. Tom was part Biologist, Geologist, and amateur photographer,... read more and knew so much about Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Point State Park. He picked us up from our hotel, on time at 7 AM, in a modern, clean Transit van, and we along with one other couple spent 8+ hours in these parks. Tom knew where to take us to get great pictures of sunrise in Arches, and take some short hikes to see the highlights of these parks. We had a great day, and despite the cost, felt that this was money well spent and that we got so much more out of our visit because of this tour than we would have on our own. I had also bought an 'auto-tour', and we listened to that when we drove into the parks the day before, and revisited some sights on the day after our visit with Tom, but our day with Tom was like having our own park ranger answering all of our questions about plants, animals, history, and the different geologic formations as we saw them.
Our suggestion is to wear layers (it was cold early in the day, but warmed up later), and bring your own water bottle that will be refilled from a larger container in the van.
