Real Stories From Our Travelers
Posted on Trail780126Verified A great day with Ryan at the helm Our guide Ryan was great… he was very knowledgeable in explaining the geology and history of the area. We were able to see many more sites than if we had done it on our own and we were able to just sit back and enjoy the day without any hassle. I would certainly recommend this tour!Posted on Robin JVerified Great tour of Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse!! The tour was fantastic. Got to see a lot of the major sites in Arches and Canyonlands as well as Dead Horse Point. Tom was an excellent guide and also volunteered to take pictures of us at every stop. He got some great shots for us! Very knowledgeable about the geology plants, animals, and history of the area, so we learned a ton as well. The tour didn’t involve too much walking but still enabled us to see so much! The tour company provided plenty of water, light snacks, and a picnic lunch that was a real treat. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It well worth the price!Posted on cummingsd2015Verified Great way to see Moab’s biggest parks! Buzz was friendly and knowledgeable. We got to see everything promised and also got to climb as much as we were comfortable with. Buzz was also very good with my daughter, keeping her safe while encouraging her to try different paths. I didn’t love the wraps in our lunch (too spicy for my daughter to be willing to try) but the picnic was very nice.Posted on Daniel SVerified Exciting day exploring Arches. We had a fantastic day with our guide Buzz. Originally we booked this tour because we were afraid what parking would be like at each site given no more timed entry. It turned out not to have been as bad as we feared but even with that we were very happy we made the choice to book with Moab in a Day. Not only did Buzz know some cool hidden spots to show us, but knew a ton about the park, the geology, and the ecology of the area. We learned a lot more than we would have doing a hike by ourselves. The day was hitting a number of spots. None were long hikes - maybe 3 miles for the longest. But Buzz did a great job matching our energy level and a few of our outings got a tad technical which was a lot of fun. Overall a great day and a good change from our regular self guided hiking.Posted on Mike WVerified Beyond Sightseeing: A True Moab Adventure We had an incredible private guided tour with Moab In A Day and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Moab. Our tour included Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and an amazing Jeep ride through Long Canyon. Every stop was breathtaking, but what really made the experience special was our guide, Buzz. Buzz was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history, geology, flora, and fauna, but he explained everything in a way that was interesting and easy to understand without ever making it feel like a college geology lecture. He kept the day fun, engaging, and informative from start to finish. Paulina, the owner, was also fantastic to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly and made the entire booking process smooth and stress-free. I would highly recommend Moab In A Day to anyone looking for more than just a sightseeing trip. This felt like a truly personalized experience that gave us a much deeper appreciation for the beauty and history of the Moab area.Posted on Jet769260Verified Stunning Arches has been on our bucket list forever and we finally made it there. Ryan was an excellent guide who was sensitive to the needs of senior citizen passengers. The hikes were easily manageable and worth doing. Ryan knew the area so well, pointing out great photo ops and key features of the area along with background information to put what we were seeing in context.Posted on Robert LVerified Three sites to remember! Excellent guide, great lunch, small group of five. Beautiful experience Short easy hikes,Posted on Marcia LVerified Beautiful tour of beautiful Moab! I relied on the positive reviews to help us decide whether or not to spend the money on this tour or just go and explore on our own. I can tell you it was worth the money. Ryan showed up to our hotel and introduced himself and I said “dude you are Trip Advisor famous!” There is a reason for that. Ryan is so full of knowledge and just the right balance of serious guide and goofball! He made the day a lot of fun and we learned so much rather than just seeing structures. The tour included prepared lunches that were so good; pita sandwiches, chips, potato salad, cookies and fresh strawberries. Ryan spread it out on a rock on a tablecloth and we sat there and ate overlooking the most beautiful canyon. It was a full day. We were lucky to have a great bunch of people on the tour with us which makes it even better. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. It’s well worth it! Thanks again Ryan for a great day in your beautiful Moab which you so clearly love and appreciate!!Posted on roncoateVerified Great day trip! We had a wonderful day touring Arches and Canyonlands. Our tour guide, Ryan, did a marvelous job and gave us plenty of opportunities to get out and hike. We had a wonderful day on this tour and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a comprehensive overview of the Parks near Moab!Posted on Peter KVerified Great tour! The bus tour was a great way to experience all the highlights of arches, canyonlands, and dead horse point, while adapting to the needs of the travelers. The guide was knowledgeable, the lunch that was provided was excellent, and the tour ran on time from the pick up until the very end Even before the tour, Paulina was extremely helpful with advice and recommendations for how to best experience the Moab area.
