*** There are currently no local health ordinances in place. We are delighted that our tours are back to normal operations, however we still take all reasonable cleaning precautions to keep our guides and guests happy, healthy and safe. ***
COVID CANCELLATIONS
We are excited that you are looking to entrust us with your precious vacation time and we hope to deliver an exceptional tour when you get to Moab. We did, however, want to reach out to you in these difficult times for the travel industry and tell you how the current situation has affected us and potentially you.
The local ordinance now requires that you wear a mask inside public spaces anywhere in Grand County. Because of that we ask that you wear a mask inside the vehicle while on tour so we can decrease chances of exposure for everyone on the tour. You DO NOT need to wear a mask outside while sightseeing. Free masks will be provided to those who don’t have one. We ask for this inconvenience because if one of our staff gets sick with flu-like symptoms, we have to assume that it’s COVID and close our business immediately while everyone is tested and we await results. If this happens we will be required to cancel immediate tours with extreme last minute notice. This is the only time we would cancel a booked tour. Keep in mind that if exposed on a recent, previous tour, you might have to be quarantined as required by your local health authorities. All tours canceled by us due to COVID will receive a full refund.
We hope that you will understand that these measures are not taken lightly, but they are required by the local health departments. We are taking exceptional precautions, including disinfecting vehicles after and before every tour, and as of right now we have had no health issues among our staff.

I understand that if exposed on a tour, I might have to be quarantined as required by your local health authorities and that I will not hold Moab In A Day financially responsible for any financial losses associated with quarantine or medical expenses associated with medical care.

CONSENT
I understand that COVID-19 virus has a long incubation period during which carriers of the virus may not show symptoms yet are still be
highly contagious. It is impossible to determine who has it and who does not given the current limitations and availability of COVID-19 viral testing. I understand that due to the frequency of tours with other guests, characteristics of the virus, and the characteristics of the tour business, that I may have an elevated risk of contracting the virus simply by being inside a vehicle, even though CDC health guidelines are being observed and I have agreed to wear a mask at all times inside the vehicle. I have been given the opportunity to ask any questions regarding risks of contracting COVID-19 on a tour. I do voluntarily assume any and all medical risks, including a substantial and significant risk of serious harm or death, if any, which may be associated with being on a guided tour as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
